Endless Roads
Where Are We Going?
We have a rough idea of the road to the tip of Argentina, but we plan to let people we meet and our curiosity determine the final route. Click on a country link to see what we are doing and where we have been. Country links will be live for countries we have visited or are in currently. If you have a cool restaurant, beach, town or something we should see, pls post it under “Contact Us” on the homepage.
Countries We Are Visiting – Segment 1
OK -it has taken us a lil bit of time to get a rhythm on our travels, including finding some time to update websites, Instagram, family texts, etc. We’ll continue to get better but travel updates on the website will be about every 1-2 weeks. For the country we are in currently posting updates in you will see the link BOLDED and Italicized.
Mexico Guatemala El Salvador Honduras Nicaragua Costa Rica Panama
Segment 2
Well we can’t wait to get back on the road after the 2 month hiatus we took after driving from Denver/Phoenix to Panama City. The second segment should carry us through the end of August and cover Colombia, Ecuador and Peru. Keep checking back and we’ll post our experiences. Also stay connected on Instagram at Panamerican2024.

Segment 3
Well, here we go on the last leg of the trip. Picking up the trip back in Lima and then down to Ushuaia, Argentina. We will bounce back and forth between Chile and Argentina as we work our way down to the end of the road. We push off early in November and go until we finish. Hope you enjoy the ride following along with us.

FINAL UPDATE
Our container arrived on 3/20 in Houston, almost a month late. We were able to get the vehicles out of the container in the 1st few days of April. John had his rig placed on a tow truck and shipped to a shop in Denver to have a new engine installed. It should be ready for new adventures in May. Matt picked up his rig and drove back to Denver, visiting his brothers in Houston and Dallas on the way. The process to get the vehicles was one of the smoothest we experienced – just show up with proof of shipping-ownership provided by the shipping broker and drive away. So nice to be back in the states.
When one is in Houston, one must make the drive to Ma Goodsons. An old school restaurant serving the best chicken fried steak in Texas. Oh, and you need to get the extra large. Everyone needs to try this beast at least once in a lifetime.
The drive for Matt back to Denver from Dallas was uneventful and completed in one day. When he pulled into the driveway at night, the trip formally came to a close for the group.
The final mileage tally was 23,422! Wow such a blast.
The team has formally completed the Pan American highway from Prudhoe Bay, Alaska, down to Ushuaia, Argentina. We drove until the road met the water on both the northern and southern routes. John, Matt, Tracy and Roz had an incredible journey over 9 months of exploring from Denver-Phoenix down to Ushuaia. It was truly incredible: incredible people, food and sights. New journeys are already being planned and who knows where this group will end up next.
Thanks for following along with us as we gathered an experience of a lifetime.
Ciao!
